Paul is a former lawyer and investment banker who has been actively involved in property development since 1997. He co-founded Hamton in 2006.

His professional passion is finding and delivering solutions to complex and challenging development opportunities.

Paul is the first Australian to have climbed the Seven Summits (the highest peak on every continent on Earth, including Everest in 2011) and complete the Polar Hat-Trick (skiing to the North Pole, the 550km Greenland Crossing and South Pole) – all unsupported and unassisted, including being a member of the first all-Australian team to establish a new route from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole (with his daughter). He has been a member of four expeditions sponsored by the Australian Geographic Society, including a circa 1,000km expedition through unexplored Amazon jungle in the mountainous Sierra del Divisor region in Peru with Matses tribe support (with his son). In Nov 22, Paul and his two children completed a 400km crossing of the Sinai on foot with Bedouin tribe support. Some of these expeditions have been captured in TV documentaries aired on Discovery and National Geographic Channels globally.

He is involved with a number of not-for-profits, including as Co-Chair of the National Board of the FMAA (the largest Bachelor of Commerce university student club in Australia, with branches across all of the country’s best universities), which he founded when a student at University of Melbourne in 1990.

Paul received an Order of Australia Medal in the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours for service to exploration and to business.

Matt is the joint owner of Hamton Property Group. Prior to becoming joint owner in 2015, he was a key senior executive in the business since its inception in 2006.

Matt has a passion for high quality and innovative design, especially of the public realm and the “human-scale” of buildings. Matt been a guest lecturer for undergraduate and post graduate courses in property at the University of Melbourne and RMIT and has a strong interest in mentoring young people in the property development industry.

After obtaining a double degree in Engineering (civil/structural) and Business (finance) at Swinburne University (graduating with Honours) in 2003, Matt started his career in project management before becoming a Development Manager and then Development Director with Hamton, where he has led the largest and most complex of the company’s award-winning projects.

He enjoys playing golf whenever an opportunity arises. Having been quite handy as a youngster, these days there’s a great divide between his best and worst.

Kirsten joined Hamton in 2024 with over three years' experience working within the property sector in Queensland.

Her background and experience lies in property valuations, in particular development site valuations and project feasibilities. Kirsten's passion for property development was enhanced during her previous role working with developer clients in Brisbane, before relocating to Melbourne to join Hamton.

Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Property Economics from Queensland University of Technology.

Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys spending time in the outdoors, travelling and visiting family.

Giuliana has over 15 years of expertise in real estate, having worked with leading national property groups such as Mirvac and Frasers Property.

Her role as Project Sales Manager at Frasers Property saw her lead the successful launch and sales of high-profile residential projects, including Burwood Brickworks and Bradmill Yarraville. At Mirvac, Giuliana also achieved success selling luxury apartments at Yarra's Edge Docklands and was instrumental in the sales of multiple master-planned communities, including Enclave at Ascot Vale.

Combining a wealth of industry knowledge with an unwavering commitment to her role, Giuliana's passion for real estate development is matched only by her dedication to helping clients navigate the property market.

Outside of work, Giuliana loves spending time with her husband and two young children. She enjoys cooking and hosting for her large extended family, enjoying the vibrancy of a full house of family and friends.

Erin doubles in the Hamton team as both Operations Manager and Marketing Assistant.

Erin doubles in the Hamton team as both Operations Manager and Marketing Assistant. She brings with her a wealth of experience across many business facets including office management, finance, OH&S accreditation, HR, IT, and marketing. Erin approaches all aspects of any job with a positive, hardworking attitude and is passionate about helping find solutions to any challenges.

Outside of the office, Erin enjoys spending her time with her partner and their staffy. Usually somewhere near water, in the sunshine or with friends. She travels home to see her family in country NSW any chance she gets.

Originating from a marketing and event management background, Tracey moved into property in 2002. Her first role was with MAB Corporation selling the first stages of NewQuay Docklands.

She then worked on many high profile developments including Aerial Camberwell Junction, Clara South Yarra before joining Hamton as Sales Manager in 2012. In this role she was the key sales person on 50 Albert South Melbourne, Malvern Hill and the award winning Eden, Haven and Sanctuary project in Abbotsford.

Following a passion for country living, Tracey lives between the city and her farm in the Macedon Ranges where she is breeding warmblood and German Riding Pony horses.

Tracey has rejoined Hamton in 2019 for the Moonee Valley project.

Danielle has a 10+ year career within the property industry, working on behalf of many leading national and international property developers.

Prior to joining Hamton in 2018, Danielle spent the last 5 years with Australia’s largest independent property marketing agency, successfully planning and executing strategies for land, medium density and apartment projects.

With a wealth of knowledge in the sector, Danielle’s passion is creating unique project campaigns that lead the market.

Danielle and her partner share a love for design and have recently completed an extensive renovation of their own home.

Steve has extensive experience in the property development and funds management sectors. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

As CFO of Hamton, he has responsibility for the group’s financial control, strategic planning, reporting, taxation and treasury management, in addition to oversight of several of the operational business lines.

Prior to joining Hamton, Steve spent 5 years as the CFO of Oliver Hume Real Estate Group and Oliver Hume Property Funds, presiding over all accounting, financial and taxation matters, with overall responsibility for the treasury and reporting functions across multiple property syndications along with securing project debt facilities.

He spent the first 8 years of his career with Pitcher Partners in its Business Assurance & Advisory Division, including various special projects and secondments.

Steve and his wife spend most of their spare time running around after their three young children. In the rare gaps, Steve can be found on the golf course or tinkering with his vintage Mustang.

Chase brings a wealth of construction & professional experience to the Hamton team.

With over 5 years in project management consultancy with Gallagher Jeffs, 6 years working across remote construction sites Australia wide and holding multiple management positions overseas in different sectors, Chase‘s skills are well placed to deliver Hamton’s high-quality projects.

Holding a bachelor degree with honours in Project Management, as well as multiple high risk and heavy plant qualifications, Chase thrives on finding solutions to the many issues that can come up on a live construction site or in design and he is passionate about the teams that he manages to deliver Hamton’s projects.

Chase is an all-rounder outside of work also. His interests range from rafting trips, fishing, surfing & camping and a wide range of sports through to teaching classical piano to local students and performing at family or friends events.

Pete joined Hamton in March 2011 and has worked on numerous of its projects, the various Hamton operating businesses and the Hameister family group interests.

He has played an integral role in establishing the budget and reporting systems that are used throughout the group and has also overseen the establishment and sale of various businesses across the journey so far.

Originally from Perth, Pete is now fully engrossed in the Melbourne lifestyle. He likes to keep fit by utilising the various running tracks around town and completed the 2013 Melbourne Marathon. Pete is also a keen golfer, with a goal of getting his handicap back down to single figures.

Pete has Hamton to thank for meeting his wife Nicole (a former employee).

Justin joined Hamton in 2020 bringing over 10 years’ of experience in the Melbourne property development industry in a career that has included working as an Architect as well as a Development Manager.

Justin’s prior experience includes 5 years working as a Development Manager at Goldfields and Chun Group, managing mixed use residential and commercial developments and 6 years in Architecture and Interior Design offices Jackson Clements Burrrows and Carr Design Group. He holds both a Bachelor of Property and Construction and a Master of Architecture from The University of Melbourne.

Justin enjoys spending time with his family and weekends at the beach or the farm in the Western Districts.

With over 25 years’ experience in the property and development industry Fergus brings a wealth of knowledge and problem-solving skills to the team at Hamton.

Prior to joining Hamton in 2019, Fergus held several senior leadership roles in some of Melbourne’s most successful private development groups enabling him to gain an intimate understanding of both local and international marketplaces. He very much enjoys working with like-minded people with clear objectives and goals.

Having a diverse background has resulted in some of the most successful sales and marketing programs across Australia & New Zealand.

When not at work Fergus enjoys spending time with his 4 children, entertaining family & friends and is very much looking forward to being able to travel again!

Chris joined Hamton in 2022 with 5 years’ experience in the commercial property sector in Queensland.

His prior experience includes agency and commercial leasing in Brisbane across a multitude of assets on behalf of domestic and international investors. However, Chris found that his real passion lies in residential development, which led to a move to Melbourne to join Hamton.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Business and a Master of Valuations and Property Development.

In his downtime, Chris enjoys watching sports, spending time with family and friends and travelling.

As a Senior Development Manager at Hamton, Simon brings over 20 years within the development and construction industry.

Prior to Hamton, Simon worked for Acciona as National Head of Property and as Head of Development at boutique developer, Neometro, where he was integral member of the development team that delivered many successful high-end mixed use inner suburban developments. He holds a Bachelor of Construction Management from RMIT.

In his younger days Simon was an elite runner and can still be sighted running around the parks of Melbourne, though these days at a very leisurely pace. With a young energetic family, Simon’s weekends are generally packed with children’s activities. Whenever there is a free weekend, Simon enjoys the opportunity to head down to the coast and have a relaxing weekend away with family and friends

Marissa has over 15 years' experience in various disciplines in the built environment across various property sectors.

Architecturally trained, qualified, and having worked in multiple industry leading architectural practices in Melbourne and Shanghai, her design management skills and architectural sensibilities are highly valued at Hamton.

Combined with this, she has also been a project manager with a reputable consulting firm delivering complex projects, focused on delivery and risk mitigation and prior to joining Hamton, was immersed in development management for five years with a large private developer.

Marissa has established herself as an accomplished and unique all-rounder with proven competency across all facets of the development life cycle. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture in Shanghai, China and Master of Architecture at the University of Melbourne.

Outside of work, Marissa enjoys time spent with her young family and is also a gardening enthusiast.

Before joining Hamton, Tori worked for 6 years at one of Melbourne’s leading design agencies developing and delivering successful brand strategies for clients across a diverse range of sectors including property, education, hospitality and fitness. With an enthusiasm for interpreting data to provide measurable results, Tori has a passion for delivering strategic campaigns that are high-impact and leave a lasting impression on their audience.

With tertiary qualifications in Law and Media & Communications, her passion for the property industry originated from the desire to help create communities in which the built form enriches the landscape and the lives of the people who live there.

When not at work Tori enjoys getting back to her hometown of Torquay, spending time with family and friends, paddleboarding and seeing live music.

Her passion for detail in the delivery process and well-considered design was shaped through a combination of prior roles as a Contract Administrator with high-end residential builder Duo Built and as an Interior Designer at Ewert Leaf.

Outside of work, Matilda enjoys keeping fit and socialising with friends and family.

After 5 years at Multiplex building landmark apartment projects across the CBD, Nick joined a local property developer working on several residential projects across Melbourne prior to starting at Hamton.

Holding both a Bachelor of Environments (Construction) from The University of Melbourne and a Master of Business from Monash University, Nick brings real focus, diligence and enthusiasm to every project he works on.

When not behind his desk or on site, Nick is a hopeless amateur sportsman – still regularly playing both Football and Cricket on weekends when his body allows.

With around 15 years of experience in the property development industry, Brad’s expertise lies in getting projects into construction and seeing them through to completion.

Brad owns a project management consulting business which provides a range of services to the property development industry. Prior to establishing this business, Brad spent over 3 years at a leading project management consultancy, before moving in-house to leading private development companies such as Hamton. Brad is a problem solver and always seeking a win-win.

If Brad isn’t at the office or on a construction site, you may find him on one of Melbourne’s running tracks. Brad’s passion for running and adventure led him to the Sahara desert and completing the Marathon des Sables in 2015.
